These videos have been produced from 16mm. movie film taken by my father Jack Samson, nearly 90 years ago. Due to age and technology existing at that time, the quality is not great, but if you can tolerate the flickering, you will get a glimpse of what Scouting and the world looked like in 1933.
After the Jamboree there was an extensive tour of the U.K. You will recognise a lot of the landmarks if you have visited there. This video takes about 10 seconds to start.

1935 Scout Jamboree held at Frankston.
This video includes brief glimpses of dignitaries of the time including Lord Baden- Powell on his white horse.

The 1st Australian Pan-Pacific Jamboree was held in Frankston (Victoria, Australia) between 27th December, 1934 and 13th January, 1935. This Jamboree was the first international gathering of Scouts outside Europe and the only Australian Jamboree attended by Lord Baden-Powell.
